How A Father Contributes To The Growth & Development Of A Child.

In tribute to Fathers Day, let us know how a father contributes to the growth & development of a child.

As the saying goes, any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad, according to Anne Geddes.

June 19, 2022, is the perfect time to honor every dad who shows up for his children. Being the best father is not an easy job, but it dramatically affects a child’s life now and forever.

Every joke a father shares, every hug he gives, every moment he listens patiently, every time he is a role model for his child. Showing up with integrity and teaching how God is fantastic in his life, he is shaping his child into a person who will make him proud one day.

Whatever he accomplishes in life, nothing beats being a father.

To honor their contribution as a father, let us know how he contributes to the growth & development of a child.

  • Fathers who are highly involved with their children have positive impacts. Children positively do better in school and demonstrate better psychological well-being. They are less likely to get into trouble of any kind and ultimately attain higher levels of education and economic self-sufficiency.
  • Children with good relationships with their fathers are less likely to use drugs.
  • Children who don’t have their fathers’ respect are more prone to anxiety.
  • When fathers are involved in their children’s education, the kids are more likely to get better grades, enjoy school, and participate in extracurricular activities.
  • An active and nurturing fathering style is associated with better verbal skills, intellectual functioning, and academic achievement among adolescents.
  • A hands-on father promotes inner growth and strength. A father who is affectionate and supportive affects a child’s cognitive and social development.
  • If a father is hands-on with their children instills an overall sense of well-being and self-confidence.
  • Relationship with the father is the children’s baseline in having relationships with others. Choosing friends, lovers, and spouses will be based on how they perceive the meaning of the relationship with their father. The patterns a father sets in the relationships with his children will dictate how his children relate with other people.

Impressive, right? These contributions are evident to kids whose father is right by their side. Every child who has a father has a happy disposition in life.

To have successful children in the future, be a FATHER, not just a MAN.
